Cable Televsion Advisory Council of Southeastern Connecticut

O u r M i s s i o n

To advocate for the citizens within the Groton Cable Franchise area towns Groton, Ledyard, North Stonington, Stonington, and Voluntown. To represent the citizens before the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC) and to undertake initiatives to make the Cable providers as responsive as possible to the citizens needs.

Council goals:

Advocate cost containment
Work closely with TVC in the development of new franchise
Continue to advocate for the needs of franchise members
To continually review the cable channel lineup and advocate for customer requests
Raise the public awareness of the advisory council, inform the community of the advisory council's role and solicit public opinions and needs
